We are pleased to announce that dentistry and hygiene services are now available by appointment only on Monday through Friday, from 8 am - 5 pm. In order to maintain physical distancing, we are limiting the amount of people in the office at this time, so no walk-ins.
We are adhering to the strict guidelines outlined by our association and college to keep our patients and staff safe and healthy during COVID-19. We will screen patients over the phone and take their temperature as they arrive. We ask that everyone enters the building with a mask on and sanitizes their hands when entering our office.
If you have any symptoms of COVID-19, we ask that you reschedule your appointment for a later date when you are healthy. Most of our team is back to work and looking forward to reconnecting with patients. You may not be able to tell who we all are under the extra layers of PPE, but know that we will be greeting you with the same friendly smiles we always have.

We offer a various mouthguards for you such as:
Snoring can have several reasons. Often these are designed to prevent the tongue from sliding to the back of your mouth causing airway obstruction. You can discuss these problems with our dentist and they’ll suggest custom-fit snore guards. These help holding your lower jaw forward while sleeping, thus enabling an open airway for you to breathe normally.
The chances of a sport-related injury are minimized by wearing a mouthguard. These are worn over teeth and are often used to protect the teeth from injury. It is molded according to your teeth set and protect them from injuries.
We also provide night guards for people who grind their teeth or clench their jaws while sleeping. To stop your teeth from grinding, dentists suggest custom made guard that have very specific properties.
Bruxism is a condition in which you grind or clench your teeth more than usual. The one suffering from bruxism may unconsciously clench their teeth when they are awake (awake bruxism), or sometimes they clench teeth during sleep (sleep bruxism). Though it cannot stop actual grinding or clenching, mouthguards can help reduce teeth grinding and relieve patients from pain.
Incredibly Impressed of the Service
“Canmore Downtown Dental went absolutely above and beyond for me. I was visiting from BC for a wedding. At the same time, I also managed to require some emergency dental work. I was in a lot of pain! Their office got me in right away, were kind, took care of the issue and the doctor gave me her cell in case anything got worse over the weekend! So incredibly impressed of the service I received as a non-patient. Thank you.”
